AMSOLAR Corporation Announces That Michael S. Ledford Has Joined The Company As Senior Advisor

SAN DIEGO, CA – June 11, 2009 – AMSOLAR Corporation (“AMSOLAR”), the premier solar solutions partner for educational institutions and select commercial enterprises, today announced that Michael S. Ledford has joined the company as Senior Advisor.

Mr. Ledford was Executive Vice President, Engineering and Chief Technology Officer with Sirius XM Radio, Inc., where he led the global engineering teams that procure, construct and operate state-of-the-art broadcast satellites.

Prior to joining Sirius in 2001, Mr. Ledford was Senior Vice President of Automotive Strategy at Wingcast, a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and Qualcomm Inc., where he created innovative products using Qualcomm CDMA chipsets. Ledford also served as Executive Director of Telematics at Ford, and prior to that was Corporate Executive Director for Process Engineering responsible for overseeing Ford's worldwide introduction of new technologies. He has also held engineering management positions with Intel Corporation.

Mr. Ledford served as a Military Intelligence Officer with the U.S. Army. He holds a BSEE from University of Arizona and an MBA from Wharton School of Business.
